Homer is governed by an elected mayor and town council consisting of five elected members. Each council member is elected for a four-year term for a designated district. The Town of Homer Council meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at 400 East Main Street in downtown Homer. A Mayor's workshop is held at 5pm in Council Chambers before each City Council meeting.
The Town of Homer Business office is open to the public Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A drop box is available to customers for after-hours payments.
